Happy birthday!!!
Makemetravel has been launched more than one year ago.
Some pets are doing a great trip, other seem to be lost, and some hasn't started yet!
Finally our fluffy travellers rode through 90061 Kms accross 16 countries;
Congratulations and a big thank you to all the friends that carried our pets all around the world.
We said we will donate 1€ for each 1000 Kms travelled to a charity association. Thus we will donate 90€ to the Unicef which helps children in more than 150 countries. (www.unicef.org)

Make me travailleurs

After spending a few days in Rio, I thought it was a good idea to see the countryside. I therefore spent a few days in Paraty and some mode on Ilha Grande (the Great Island) where, I have to admit, I have see some really nice landscapes.

Paradise on Earth, I'm telling you!

Rio is so much fun, with many things to see, the Christ on top of the Corcovado, the Sugarloaf mountain, Copacabana, the Lapa arches...
But best of all, I discovered a new activity I really enjoyed:
Rooflamp surfing !!! Great !!

Waaouuu! I'm there at least! After crossing the entire altantc ocean I was quite thirsty, so I offered myself a coco drink on Copacabana!

I will spend my last days in Turkey in Istanbul, the capital. There is many thing to see in Istanbul:
Saint-Sophie, the blue mosque, the grand bazar, the egyptian bazar, the Topkapi palace and so many other things.
Too many things to see in such a little time... So we didn't find the time to take so many pictures

Visiting Turkey has been really tiring until now! So I'm glad to have some time to relax in Bodrum.
I am staying at the Bodrum Holiday Resort & Spa, and will be staying here 4 days.

After spending 10 hours in a bus we arrived in Pamukkale. We decided to spend the afternoon here before leaving for another bus trip.

During 4 days, I've tried to see as many things as possible:
Underground cities, fairy chimneys, valleys and canyons...
Cappadocia really has a lot to offer on top of a beautiful weather.

I finally arrived in Cappadocia after a 12 hour journey in a bus. The bus is OK but I couldn't quite move my fins.
Once arrived I fell in love with an old Ford convertible, I rushed to rent it and drive through Cappadocia.

I learned how to make kayak in Halong Bay, shopped in Hanoi and lovvvvved Hoi an..
But it was only for 15 days, because Lao was already waiting for us
